How often do you switch up or change your swimsuit attire? I’ll be the first to admit that it’s been years since I actually bought a swimsuit. Since it’s been so long, there have been a wide variety of styles that you can now get swimsuits in, and a girl had to switch things up for this summer.
That’s where Superbalist comes in. I ordinarily buy a good amount of my clothing from Superbalist (like these trousers) but this summer, it was time for me to add a few new additions. I like to keep my swimsuits as simple as possible but I didn’t shy away from going a little bold this time around.

Khaki – probably one of the most popular swimsuit colours of all time, I have been eyeing a two piece in this colour for such a long time. I barely show off my body like this when I’m poolside, but I’ve been feeling really confident about my body (especially after my trip to Bali, where I almost lived in swimsuits on a daily basis).
I’m here for this particularly Khaki swimsuit set from Cotton On. The scooped neckline of the bikini top is perfect for me as this is my preferred style. With a ribbed design, this is a really easy going and subtle swimsuit with adjustable straps and removable padding so it can fit right just for your body. The support from the padding is great (and a personal must-have for me when it comes to my two pieces) and I like the overall coverage this two piece has over my body.
When it comes to full body, one piece swimsuits, I actually only own two. I get really giddy talking about swimwear in general, let alone my favourite types and styles but if I’m being honest, one piece swimsuits are where it’s at!
Surprisingly, this is where I like to be a little more bold with my choice of colours. The current one pieces I own are in a bright yellow and light mint colour – both look fabulous on my skin – but this summer, I wanted to get even louder with my colour choices.

I admit, red might just be the loudest colour I could have gone for but my goodness, do I feel sexy in this! I love the square neckline of this one piece; a welcome change from the usual scoop or rounded necklines that I’m used to.
This particular one piece doesn’t have a low back so it also squarely covers your back. With adjustable straps but no padding, this isn’t too revealing but still gives me the ‘Baywatch’ vibes I’ve always imagined (you know, me running in slow motion on the beach!). Even though there is no padding to this one piece, it provides just enough support to keep you feeling comfortable. With no fancy cutouts, this one piece provides ultimate coverage with a good amount of stretch to ensure that you feel hugged in all the right places.
No summer swimwear attire is complete without a few accessories. A simple girl like me loves a good straw hat and sunglasses. I’ve rocked fedoras to the beach before but I’ve since developed my personal style in such a way that large, wide brimmed hats are my favourite (and perhaps go-to) to pair my swimsuits with. Right now, I’m rocking the Ivy Straw Hat from Superbalist’s headwear range so make sure you take a look at their wider range for more options and styles.
When it comes to sunglasses, man do I have quite the variety! I’ve been collecting sunglasses for the past 3 years now and while I don’t have 100s of them, I do have some staples that I know are my go-to pair for poolside downtime. I’m a personal fan of darker shades so naturally, these Poppy Hexagon Sunglasses were a must have in my cart (also, sunglasses make for great flatlay props).

Whether you’re rocking two pieces or a one piece, planning a beach vacation or much needed poolside fun, get your swimsuit sets from Superbalist (SPF not included so stock up on that too!)
